Blessing in Disguise

Ok so this morning i was going to meet a friend for breakfast at Eat N Park and then go get my 2007 Chevy Impala inspected....

I never made it.....

Not even 10 min from my house i swerved to miss a tree in the road and ended up hitting it anyway, just to end up with hitting a mailbox where i stopped. Much to my surprise the cop that came tried to blame me when it really wasn't my fault the stupid tree was in the middle of the road and there was oncoming traffic....could not miss it is what im trying to day! So, I let the elderly couple that lived nearby know what had happened to there mailbox and took plenty of pics at the damage of my BEAUTIFUL CAR and their MAILBOX and filed a claim.

Well that trouble did not end there...of course I cried....I am 39 weeks and 4 days preggo....who wouldn't!? Went to get it inspected and the nice guy said just turn around so he didn't have to take my money....It wouldn't pass!!!!

I went to Magee Womens hospital to get Checked out because of the accident and much to my surprise AGAIN the baby's head is UP! SHE IS BREACH! My last 3 appointments in 3 weeks the stupid idiot docs said she was head down....well she has little amniotic fluid and no room to turn so she has been head up for a while now....so yeah My hubby is coming home tonight and I go in for a C-Section Tomorrow. They are treating me like gold because they screwed up big time....apparently it is a risk to do a C-Section closer to 40 weeks bc of the lack of space....(they usually go 38-39 weeks) AND bc i have to do it tomorrow there is like NO PLANNING for anyone in the family...so its all RUSH RUSH!!

But here is the Blessing part....i had contractions on monday and they slowed down because of me taking a shower and relaxing, but had i gone into full blown labor the hubby would not have made it in time, it would have been emergency C-Section, AND my mom would have not been able to go in with me...so I would have been ALONE! Yeah its not a huge deal but had the doc's done there job correctly this would never have been a possible situation....

Charles was worried all day long and found out about some time off from his instructor. You see, He is the ONLY one in his class and they started 2 weeks early knowing i could pop at anytime...so he could still finish on time for us to be based in August. Anyway he had is first test today and got a 98%!!! His instructor told him about permissive leave AND he can take regular leave so he will be home to help with the new baby for 17 days!!!! He didn't have to pay for a plane ticket home because back at Christmas he gave up his flight seat because continental overbooked....so he took a 500 dollar free money coupon thing instead...still came home for Christmas...later but thats ok! AND there are grants out there for military members to get assistance on tickets if they need it!!! so he wont have to pay as much if any on the way home!

Yes I still have a 500.00 deductible on my car AND its a new car that looks like its 5 years old....BUT if it wasn't for that accident....none of this would have happened and it could have turned out a lot worse!!!

Things Happen for a Reason.....I always hated that saying but....I think I am beginning to like it! :)
