well....it is now sept 22 and we are still in PA. alaska is so close, yet so far away. we were supposed to move the end of august but with charle's training being delayed and my father's death....alaska was put off. now charles is sick and probably wont be albe to fly....of course...delaying us another week.
ok now for the reason im asking for help...
i am pickin up some more days at work to help mom get bills paid because of the funeral. she is also having troubles at work. during the last 2 weeks of july/begining of august when we were dealing with dad, she did not work her full time status....after going back to work for a month as full time, they took her off of full time status and insurance off of her as of yesterday. her status is factored in like 14 week intervals and her hours worked/14 weeks = 28.828 hrs. she needed an average of 30 hrs/week to keep her status. she used all of her vacation and personal days and it still came out to be just a few hrs short. i didnt think they could do this because it was because of a death AND she went back FULL time after the fact....she has been full time for a month and now they try to take everything away. i dont get it. hopefully if anyone has any suggestions please comment. she has tried calling the company and is trying to get some answers...but that still doesnt help the no insurance coverage at this point. if they dont back date it, do we have a legal case that we could win?
agh! nothing can ever go smooth, but i am hoping things work out for the best....things happen for a reason i guess...
