last night Charles and i had our date after class....tons of fun! we didn't look at baby stuff but we did get a lot of much needed talking done. you know the kind that girls like but boys don't?! anyway i had to work AGAIN! as usual so he talked to me until i made it to the hospital safely. then him and his buddies went to wally world aka Wal-Mart then McDonald's. he had me worried because the roads i heard were so bad up there, but he called me around 11pm his time and said they made it back safe and he was going to bed....that made me feel so relieved.
at work some of the patients i had were such great patients, but you always have that one thorn in the dozen beautiful roses....SHE DROVE ME NUTS! AND to top it off....i could have just stuck a foot in my mouth because i volunteered for 4 hrs overtime because another unit was short staffed....thank god it was another unit. i still had nut ball patients, but it was a nice change of pace. I even broke my...."i cant get the IV in anymore" curse!!! and got one in right before i was ready to leave!!! i was so excited.
Now i just got home and i feel like i could just crash for days...but i have a date with the mother-in law. this should be interesting. oh well....Charles is pleased and thats all that counts right now....so yeah its time for a shower and bed until i meet with her. have a great day all!
